The High-Voltage Pulse Generator Type IPG 809 is designed for dielectric testing of X- and Y-capacitors with standard impulse voltages 1.7/46 µs –0/+50% up to 8 kV acc. to IEC 60384-14, EN 132400, VDE 0565 etc. Picture: incl. Option PA 503

The PG 10-150 consists essentially of a variable transformer with motor drive, isolating transformer, filter circuit, DUT with parallel capacitor and a high-voltage pulse generator. All settings in the power section are made on the control unit. The pulse-forming networks according to IEC 60384-14 are adjustable.

HV - Impulse generator PG 4-641 creates standard voltage and current pulses with a waveform 10 / 160 µs. The output voltage is adjustable up to 3600 V, the maximum short circuit current amplitude is 480 A peak. Positive or negative polarity of output voltage can be selected. A built-in voltage divider 1000:1 allows monitoring of the impulse output waveform during testing. The short circuit current wave can be monitored by the use of the built-in shunt.

The High-Voltage Pulse Generator Type PG 6-401 is designed for dielectric testing of X- and Y-capacitors with standard impulse voltages 1.6/47 µs up to 6 kV acc. to IEC 384-14, etc. The generator has the same principle of operation as the IPG 809 but allows testing capacitance values of 33 nF - 470 nF.
