The content of the LV 123 2014-02 edition was adopted in this standard without any changes.
Application note:
The application of this version of this company standard corresponds to the area of application Mandatory for new vehicle projects or components as of the issue date of this version, no concept booklet/framework booklet or component specification booklet has been approved. The binding application of the present version of this company standard by the supplier is regulated by the respective contract documents.
General Requirements
For safety requirements, certification (particularly exhaust emission) and quality all comply with relevant legal regulations and laws. In addition, the relevant requirements of the Daimler Group.
With regard to ingredients and recyclability, materials, procedures, and process technology, Components, and systems meet all applicable legal requirements.
Deviations from the safety-related requirements of the MBN LV 123 standard for components' objective reason are only possible after prior written confirmation by the OEM if the relevant protection target for the vehicle or component demonstrably fulfilled or comparable way is demonstrably fulfilled.
AN-Series is an artificial Network that electrically recreates the vehicular power-net impedance for component tests of voltage class B (high voltage) components in laboratories and test benches. The AN-Series uses an analog system with a bandwidth covering up to 150 kHz. An artificial network like the AN-Series is crucial for the proper testing of all voltage class B components in both hybrid and electric vehicles.
In accordance with LV123, ISO 21498, MBN 11123, VW 80300, and IEC 61851-23.
