DEF STAN 59-411: PART 01, Revision I3, June 14, 2019 - Electromagnetic Compatibility Part: 01 : Management and Planning
This Standard outlines the typical electromagnetic environmental requirements for electrical/electronic equipment used in the Services and guidance is given covering documentation which ensures management and control procedures are implemented during all acquisition stages of any given project.
This Standard does not address exceptionally severe electromagnetic situations (e.g. equipment mounted on the mast of a warship). The severity of these environments should be established by modelling, prediction or measurement, see Clause 4 and Part 2. The test limits should then be tailored accordingly.
- Measurement of interference voltage in vehicles, aircraft, and ships

- 600VDC / 530VAC up to 400 Hz, 270VAC up to 890 Hz
- Max current 70A, (100A limited time)
- Impedance of each path: 5 µH || 50 Ω ±20 %
To be compliant to the standards DEF STAN 59 and DO 160 a 10 μF capacitor like the CAP 10 has to be connected to the mains connectors of the LISN.
