Fords EMC Requirments
The quality and reliability of today's automobiles are dependent in part on its electrical system to operate as designed within the vehicle’s anticipated electromagnetic environment. To meet this challenge, Ford Motor Company has developed FMC1278, a robust process to assure the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of the vehicle’s electrical system. The standard applies to all 12 and 124 volt DC electrical and electronic components and subsystems for use on 2020 Ford vehicles and beyond. FMV1278 CI 280 replaces EMC-CS-2009.1, both referring to ISO 10605 for the ESD testing portion.
Ford Motor Company (FMC) FMC1278 details the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for both the complete vehicle in addition the requirements for components and subsystems that make up the vehicle’s total electrical system. FMC1278 delineates EMC requirements for low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) electrical/electronic components and subsystems during normal vehicle operation. Processes include test plan creation, data reporting and re-validation requirements.
The TBCH1 and TBCH2 wall mount cable holders are efficient and neat solutions to store laboratory cables. The TBCH1 cable holder is designed with a focus on storing RF cables and oscilloscope probes. The TBCH2 is ideal for banana cables.
