The capacitive Coupling-/Decoupling Network CDN 5404 is used in combination with the IPG2554 and allows superimposition of a damped oscillatory wave up to four I/O signal lines. For eight data lines, two devices can be used.
The test set-up is suitable for surge immunity testing of electronic systems and devices according to IIEC 60255-22-1, EC 61000-4-12, IEC 61000-4-18 and IEEE 587.
The coupling impedance of the damped oscillatory wave is 0.5µF and the decoupling inductance is
1.5 mH.
A Coupling path can be selected with 4mm connecting plugs on the control panel.
