Features Description

The CG50/500R Comb Generators are reference signal sources for testing 50kHz-30MHz radiated testing. CG50/500R output has the harmonics of the fundamental frequency specified by the step size. The step size is selectable at 50kHz or 500kHz steps. This allows checks and investigations on Radiated measurement systems to be made, for example using rod antenna for radiated measurements. CG50/500R is powered by a rechargeable internal battery and external power cable connection.

The Comb Generator is powered by a rechargeable internal battery and external power cable connection. When fully charged, the battery allows continuous operation of up to 16 hours. The Comb Generator is included with a battery charger, USB cable, antennas, and accessories are shipped in a wooden storage box.

Application

The main application of Radiated Comb Generator is to quickly verify Radiated emissions test setups. for use in verifying monopole antennas used in MIL-STD-461, ISO, CISPR 25 automotive testing.

With the Radiated Comb Generator, the test engineer will be able to perform quick verification of the Radiated test setup more frequently to assure accurate test results.
