Live and neutral terminals
Each has a specified impedance magnitude of 50 Ω ±20%. This equal L/N loading is the key distinction from the unbalanced VHFU 8802.

A balanced RF termination for reproducible mains-cable conditions.
The VHFB 8801 provides a defined RF termination for the EUT AC mains cable during radiated-disturbance measurements. It offers balanced live and neutral impedances and is described as an alternative to a CMAD in CISPR 16-1-4, Edition 5 test configurations.

Each has a specified impedance magnitude of 50 Ω ±20%. This equal L/N loading is the key distinction from the unbalanced VHFU 8802.
The PE magnitude limit is ≤0.314 × f Ω, with f in MHz; the phase limit is ≤90°. The datasheet provides separate PE magnitude and phase curves.
The specification table gives 0° ±11.5° at ≥108 MHz and 0° ±25° below 108 MHz. The plotted limit steps show the opposite frequency assignment. Confirm the applicable phase limits with the manufacturer before acceptance testing.
Place the VHF-LISN between the radiated-test-site mains outlet and the EUT mains cable at the point where the cable leaves the test volume.
The manufacturer identifies CISPR 16-1-4, Edition 5. This is a mains-cable termination for radiated disturbance testing; it is not presented as a conventional conducted-emissions receiver-port LISN.
Use the IMA 8803 for impedance and isolation verification. Its datasheet describes one-adapter impedance measurement and two-adapter isolation measurement.
The balanced live/neutral terminations and PE characteristic are listed separately. Follow the grounding and cable arrangement required by the test.
Ratings, connectors and mechanical details consolidated from the manufacturer’s product page and Rev. A datasheet.

Extracted from the datasheet with axes, legends and limit lines intact. Typical curves characterize the device; use the stated specifications and unit calibration where applicable.
The live and neutral terminals have the same specified impedance magnitude of 50 Ω ±20%. PE has its own frequency-dependent characteristic.
The datasheet table and plotted limit steps disagree on the frequency assignment around 108 MHz. Obtain clarification from the manufacturer before using these limits for acceptance testing.
