LVDS Low-voltage differential signaling Fiber-optic Links

LVDS (Low-voltage differential signaling) systems are tailored to each individual application. We work closely without clients to understand and develop a perfect fit product that will have no issues once implemented. We have the most experience in the industry developing and delivering such systems. See below examples of what we have offered.

optoLAN-100Base-T1-MAX, (TJA1100) Fiber-optic Link Automotive Ethernet signals

The optoLAN-100Base-T1

-MAX system can be used for the optical transmission of automotive ethernet signals with NXP© TJA1100© chipset (unshielded twisted pair UTP ethernet). The system can be set up with two identical transceivers or one side automotive ethernet and the other 100BaseT. With this setup, the link can be used as a media converter. The devices are supplied by internal batteries and connected with an optical fiber. The standard connector is a 4 pole Rosenberger HSD.

dAV Fiber-optic Audio Link and Intercoms

The dAV series includes not only the digital, optical transmission of camera signals (dAV-C), it can also transmit analog audio and/or video signals uni- or bidirectionally. Fields of application are e.g. the acoustical monitoring of engine speed or surveillance of an audio or video system in immunity tests. The main unit dAV is thus equipped with different options. The dimensions of the housing depends on the options chosen.

optoLAN 10GBase-T1 BCM89890 Optical Link for Automotive Ethernet

The optoLAN-10GBASE-T1 BCM89890 system is a digital bidirectional optical transmission device for automotive Ethernet LAN-10G/5G/2.5GBASE-T1 signals (switchable).Featuring Rosenberger H-MTD connectors, optical transmission, and a shielded case, it ensures reliable, interference-free performance for EMI and EME testing, proven in automotive EMC labs.

optoCAN-SW, Fiber-optic, Automotive Link for single wire CAN Signals

The optoCAN-SW system can be used for the optical transmission of single-wire CAN signals with transmission rates of up to 33kbit/s (max. 83kbit/s). It optical transmitter of single-wire CAN signals: optoCAN-SWconsists of two identical battery supplied transceivers connected to each other with an optical fiber. With the optical transmission and the shielded case, the system is well equipped for EMI and EME tests.

optoCAN-LS, Fiber-optic, Automotive Link for CAN Signals, 125 kbit/s

The optoCAN-LS system can be used for the bidirectional optical transmission of CAN optical transmitter for low speed-CAN signals with transmission rates of up to 125kbit/s. It consists of two identical battery supplied transceivers connected to each other with an optical fiber. With the optical transmission and the shielded case, the system is well equipped for EMI and EME tests.

optoCAN-HS, Fiber-optic, Automotive Link for CAN Signals, 1 Mbit/s

The optoCAN-HS system can be used for the bidirectional optical transmission of CAN signals with transmission rates of up to 1Mbit/s. It consists of two identical battery-supplied transceivers connected to each other with an optical fiber. The optical transmission and the shielded case make the system well equipped for EMI and EME tests. The optoCAN-FD is fully backward-compatible with HS and is highly recommended.

optoCAN-FD, Fiber-optic, Automotive Link for CAN Signals, 8 Mbit/s

The optoCAN-FD system can be used for the bidirectional optical transmission of CAN-signals with transmission rates of up to 10 Mbit/s. It consists of two identical battery supplied transceivers connected to each other with an optical fiber. With the optical transmission and the shielded case, the system is well equipped for EMI and EME tests.

U1/8, 1 Channel, 50 MHz, Analog Fiber-optic links

These measuring systems are used for the optical, digital transmission of analog signals:

  • With a resolution of 8 Bit
  • maximal analog bandwidth of 50 MHz.

opto1394, Fiber-optic Link Firewire/IEEE 1394

opto1394 This system is used for the optical transmission of IEEE1394/Firewire-signals and can transmit data rates of up to 400 Mbit/s (800 Mbit/s at 1394b). The transmitter system consists of two similar transceivers supplied by batteries and a duplex-62,5/125µm-multimode optical cable. Due to its insensitivity against strong electromagnetic fields, the opto1394 is fit for tests of electromagnetic compatibility in EMC-test chambers, TEM-cells, and striplines. The system can also be used for the fail-proof transmission of signals across long distances.

optoSPI, Fiber-optic, Automotive Link for SPI Signals

The optoSPI-HS system can be used for the bidirectional optical transmission of SPI signals with transmission rates of up to 1Mbit/s. It consists of two battery supplied transceivers connected to each other with an optical fiber. With the optical transmission of the shielded case and the external filter, the system is well equipped for EMI and EME tests.
