IPP3K-4MS, 260A, Intermediate Pulse (E2) Generator
MIL-STD-188-125-1/2 Compliant Pulse Current Injection (PCI) TestingThe IPP3K-4MS is an Intermediate Pulse Generator specifically designed for Pulse Current Injection (PCI) testing in accordance with MIL-STD-188-125-1/2. This system is used to evaluate the performance of points of entry (POE) and protective devices against electromagnetic pulse (EMP) threats. The generator produces double-exponential current pulses of intermediate duration and offers fully automated control via RS232 and USB interfaces. It is a user-friendly and safe solution, making it ideal for military, aerospace, and high-voltage testing laboratories. Typical Test SetupThe IPP3K-4MS delivers a high-current pulse either directly or through coupling devices to test the effectiveness of protective devices at electrical entry points. A residual pulse enters the protected facility, which is monitored using current probes connected via fiber optics to an oscilloscope inside a shielded enclosure.
