MOBILE NEMP TEST SYSTEMS

The MIL-STD-461, respectively IEC 61000-4-25 and AECTP 500, is applicable to equipment or subsystems located outside a shielded facility. The RS105 test method describes a transient electromagnetic pulse of up to 50 kV/m (-0dB, +6dB), a double exponential waveform with a rise time in the nanosecond range, that is applied to the equipment under test (EUT) at least 5 times. The EUT should not exhibit any signs of performance degradation.
Transportable systems for indoor/outdoor use and fixed simulators for outdoor installations have been developed and marketed since 1998.

The NEMP360 is a specialized test system designed to evaluate the electromagnetic pulse (NEMP) immunity of small electronic components, such as EUTs up to 4m x 2m x 1m, in compliance with MIL-STD-461 RS105 standards. This compact and portable setup features a robust control unit and a high-voltage radiating line assembly mounted on a stable frame, allowing for easy placement and mobility on a workbench. Transportable NEMP test system according to MIL-STD 461 versions E, F and G / RS105, height of the radiation line 360 cm, for a test amplitude of up to 50 kV/m.

Key Features:

  • High Precision Testing: Generates a minimum electric field of 50 kV/m, with the capability to achieve higher fields for smaller objects positioned near the radiating line.
  • Ease of Control: The integrated computer interface supports RS232 and USB connections for seamless operation and data management.
  • Versatile Design: Suitable for both laboratory and field environments, the NEMP360 accommodates a variety of test scenarios with adjustable charging voltages ranging from 5 to 80 kV.
  • Compact Dimensions: The control unit measures 188 x 60 x 67 cm (L x H x W), and the line assembly is 16 x 3.6 x 4.8 m (L x H x W), ensuring it fits comfortably in diverse testing setups.

Whether you need to ensure the resilience of critical electronic systems or validate compliance with military standards, the NEMP360 provides a reliable and efficient solution for NEMP radiated susceptibility testing.
