This high-precision Marx generator delivers double-exponential current pulses with peak levels up to 5 kA, ensuring accurate and repeatable testing for electromagnetic pulse (EMP) protection. Engineered for military, aerospace, and high-voltage research applications, the EMP300K-5-500 is fully computer-controlled via RS232 and USB interfaces and integrates seamlessly with automation software. Typical Test SetupThe EMP300K-5-500 delivers a high-current pulse either directly or through coupling devices to test the effectiveness of protective devices at electrical entry points. A residual pulse enters the protected facility, which is monitored using current probes connected via fiber optics to an oscilloscope inside a shielded enclosure.
