Frequency-specific compensation
The capacitor lowers the total impedance of the electromagnet’s series circuit at a selected frequency. It is not described as a continuously adjustable broadband matching unit.

The Schwarzbeck NFCN 9732-x nF reduces the series impedance of the AGEM 5521-23 electromagnet at a customer-selected frequency up to 1 MHz, enabling high coil currents with generator voltages below 20 V RMS under compensated operating conditions.
Specify your working frequency when ordering. Connection cables are optional.

Use this network with the AGEM 5521-23 electromagnet. The “x nF” designation identifies a capacitance variant; the family datasheet does not provide one universal capacitance value.
The generator side uses 7 mm wing terminals. The output labeled “to coil” uses 4 mm safety laboratory jacks and connects directly to the AGEM. Optional connection cables are ordered separately.
Connect the generator to the wing terminals and the output marked “to coil” to the electromagnet. The AGEM datasheet requires series amplifier protection.
Ratings, connectors and mechanical details consolidated from the manufacturer’s product page and Rev. A datasheet.
