MAG 1000 AC Magnetic Immunity 50 & 60 Hz

The MAG 1000 will be used for EMC TESTS requiring AC Magnetic Fields.

AC current flowing in conductors generates power-frequency magnetic fields. The normal 50/60 Hz power cord is a good example, although currents with other frequencies may be present, depending on the application.

Magnetic fields may interfere with equipment operated nearby. Typically, EUTs are monitors of all kinds.

The MAG 1000 has a 1m x 1m square, 90-turn antenna. It contains an internal power supply, making this system a stand-alone solution.

The magnetic field strength is defined at the center of the coil with a 3dB variation. The coil dimensions define the maximum EUT size as 0.6m x 0.6m x 0.5m to fit within the center. For larger EUTs, exterior alignment is allowed by the standard, and the EUT can be windowed with a different axis.

The MAG 1000 can be used for vertical and horizontal plane testing by rotating the coil antenna mounted on the included stand. It can also be used for short-duration and continuous mode testing and is fully compliant with IEC 61000-4-8.

Optional EUT Test Table

MAG 1000 Opt. EPS Table - Foam EPS Test Table, shipped in pieces for gluing and assembly onsite. The center is cut out to allow for vertical loop orientation. The loop can be positioned up and down to the center object for the x and y axes; then, for the z-axis, the EUT is rotated in the table 90deg.
