Ux/14-BNC, 1-16 Channel, 100 kHz, Analog Fiber-optic links

The Ux/14-100k system can be used for the optical transmission of 1 to 16 different analog voltage signals (-BNC or -SUB-D connectors) outside the ALC or to transmit a stimulus inside the chamber (with an optional output filter). It consists of a battery-supplied transmitter and a battery-supplied receiver connected to each other with an optical fiber. It can also be used to transmit analog signals over long distances or to handle potential ground problems. With the optical transmission, the shielded case, and the external filter, the system is well-equipped for EMI and EME tests.

A Quoted kit will consist of the following configuration:

Ux/14-BNC    digital optical transmission of analog signals (base unit)

• 1 up to 8 (or up to 16 with "Ux/14 base unit -BNC extension) analog channels
• "U16/14-channel -BNC" integratable,
• resolution min. 10Bit, min.
• Accuracy 1% of p-p value, bandwidth max. 100kHz (-3dB)
• For signal transmission (ALC => CR): input filters for transmitter necessary
• For the opposite direction of signal transmission (CR => ALC - to stimulate DUT):
• Output filters for receiver needed.
• Output filters improve signal quality (noise reduction), so it is recommended to use output filters too.

• BP60-5f (4Ah shielded battery pack to power optical device inside ALC) OR
• BP60-5f/10Ah (10Ah shielded battery pack to power optical device inside ALC)

• to be sent inside the ALC (the receiver is located in ALC, and the transmitter is located in CR).
• Setup with ferrite bead reduces overshoots of rectangular signals.

• extension for Ux/14-100k -BNC to be able to integrate up to 16 channels "Ux/14-channel -BNC"
• includes bigger size housing and new front plate design with up to 16 BNC plugs integrated.
• Due to space limitations, BNC filters are mounted with 90° angle alternatively,
• integrated batteries are upgraded to 10 cells, 4 Ah
