Matching Network

•       For use with the EMCL-20 in the frequency range 10 kHz – 150 kHz

•       For use with the CDN BCI-P1 in the frequency range 10 kHz – 150 kHz

The EM clamp EMCL-20 is developed for test frequencies above 150 kHz. For testing requirements in the frequency range of 10 kHz – 150 kHz the insertion loss for an effective coupling is too high. Therefore, a matching network CDN EMCL-NW_10 / MN-1 should be used. This network transforms the low impedance of the EM clamp to an acceptable impedance for the amplifier of the RF generator. With this matching network, reproducible tests are feasible up to 10V at 80% AM.

An RF-Generator with frequency starting from 10 kHz and 75 W like the CDG 6000-75_10 should be used.

•       The CDN EMCL-NW_10 / MN-1 should be connected between the CDG 6000-75_10 HF Output and the EMCL-20, without the 6dB attenuator.

•       The CDN EMCL-NW_10 / MN-1 also is suitable to extend the frequency range of the BCI-P1 down to 10 kHz.
