GTEMCELL GTEM-1500 & GTEM-1600

The GTEMCELL GTEM-1500 is a TEM waveguide with the upper-frequency limit extended to the GHz range. It is under consideration as an alternative measurement facility for both radiated emission and immunity measurements. It is included in the standard IEC 61000-4-20 “Emission and Immunity Testing in Transverse Electromagnetic (TEM) Waveguides”.

Compared to other measuring methods like EMC test in anechoic chambers or OATS (Open Area Test Sites), GTEM-cells offer some significant advantages for the testing of small and medium-sized EUT´s (Equipment Under Test) up to a frequency range of 20 GHz. Quick turnarounds of the EUT as well as numerous testing variations are easy and fast to handle. Switching from emission to immunity testing requires only simple adjustments from receiver input to the amplifier output.

GTEM´s Main differences from competitors:

• Trolley with wheels and brakes, one person alone can move the cell!
• Unique inox steel construction for heavy tropical ambient (optional)
• Door with 3 rows of gaskets (optionally up to 5 rows), no maintenance is necessary. (no CuBe finger strips! that after some months breaks...)
• Use of hi-power ceramic BeO resistors up to 4-6GHz 100-200W ea. and 2,5KW peak power resistance.
• Over dimensioned Heatsink, No fans required also with Hi-power!
• High transparency glass with high shielding performance
• Spherical surface absorber to avoid phase delay of reflected signals
• Unique flange transition from rectangular to coax line with a quick change of input connector: N, SMA, or 7/16 DIN
• Strong and at the same time light structure reinforced with U bars.
• The safe connection between the metal sheets with multi-grip special rivets and Ni-Cu-Ag gaskets 
• Three (3) year warranty from the date of manufacturing
