EMSCOPE-RX4, 9kHz - 110MHz, 4 channel Receiver for 3 phase

Measure three-phase conducted emissions and investigate common/differential-mode noise with the four-channel EMSCOPE platform. Choose RX4 for external-LISN testing or RX4LZ2 for an added built-in 16 A single-phase LISN. Three-phase testing uses a suitable external network. Click meter and frequency upgrades are available.

EMSCOPE-RX4 / RX4LZ2 Four-Channel EMI Receivers

Four receiver channels. Clear single-phase and three-phase choices.

Choose RX4 or RX4LZ2

EMSCOPE-RX4 Four receiver channels and four transient limiters. No internal LISN. Select an external network for the EUT.
EMSCOPE-RX4LZ2 Four channels plus an internal dual-port 16 A single-phase LISN. The built-in network adds single-phase bench capability; it does not supply a three-phase EUT.
EMZER EMSCOPE-RX4 with four RF inputs and no internal LISN

RX4: N, L3, L2 and L1 RF inputs for an external network.

EMZER EMSCOPE-RX4LZ2 four-channel receiver with single-phase LISN

RX4LZ2 adds a single-phase LISN and EUT outlet. Use an external three-phase LISN for three-phase power-line testing.

Find the source of three-phase conducted EMI

Evaluate physical line signals and use common-mode plus three differential-mode results to investigate filter performance. Separate noise mechanisms before selecting filter components. Detector display and channel combinations depend on operating mode.

Frequency configuration: EMSCOPE-RX4 and EMSCOPE-RX4LZ2 start at 150 kHz as standard. Add UPGR-09 to extend coverage down to 9 kHz. The separate UPGR-110 option extends the upper limit from 30 MHz to 110 MHz.

Measurement setup

1. Connect the EUT Use the internal single-phase LISN where fitted and suitable, or a correctly rated external network.
2. Connect the receiver Connect measurement outputs to the appropriate RF inputs using suitable coaxial cables.
3. Select the measurement Choose EMI or modal mode, span, detectors, bandwidth, dwell time and the applicable limit line.
4. Compare and document Review traces, identify dominant noise modes and export results. Add the click meter license for discontinuous disturbance testing.

Practical questions

Does RX4LZ2 include a three-phase LISN?

No. Its internal LISN is single-phase. Three-phase testing requires a separately specified external network with suitable current, voltage and impedance ratings.

Is the click meter included?

No. It is an optional license for discontinuous disturbance testing. Normal EMI and modal software is included.

Do I need to install measurement software?

The application is embedded in the instrument and accessed in a browser. A browser-equipped device and suitable optical/network connection are still required.

Is 110 MHz standard?

The model table lists 30 MHz base coverage and UPGR-110 as an available upgrade. Specify the required coverage in the quotation.
