AGEM 5520  Electromagnet with variable Air Gap

The electromagnet AGEM 5520 can generate strong magnetic fields for experimental applications. Depending on the required magnetic flux density and Equipment under Test volume the air gap can be adjusted continuously. The magnet poles come with a conical shape close to the test volume to improve accessibility and to optimize the achievable magnetic flux density. The locking of the magnet poles is made using hand levers. Their position relative to their thread can be changed if needed. For the simplification of the air gap spacing adjustment, there are plastic spacers supplied, which provide an easy and repeatable setting of 6 different spacings from 15 mm to 40 mm in 5 mm steps.
