The Antenna Holder / Balun VHBB 9124 with cascaded matching balun provide an extra extraordinary degree of symmetry (common mode rejection). The collapsible open conical elements FBAB 9177 have similar characteristics to antennas with biconical elements BBA 9106 (circular directional pattern in the H-plane. “8”-shaped in the E-plane, fixed phase-center and comparable gain). The folded collapsible elements need less space during transport or storage than the biconical elements.
