Single Event

The Chicago EMC Mini Symposium is the IEEE EMC Chicago Chapter’s annual one-day tabletop event, typically held in early May at Chandler’s Chophouse in Schaumburg, Illinois. This regional symposium delivers a full day of EMC education, troubleshooting techniques, specification updates, and practical demonstrations, along with a tabletop exhibition of EMC test equipment manufacturers, test houses, and solution providers. Attendees gain new insight into radiated and conducted emissions, immunity, shielding, grounding, and current standards, while networking with fellow EMC engineers and local suppliers. Professional Engineers (PEs) can typically earn 4 PDH credits, and students are welcomed with special access in the afternoon.
